If you're caring for a child with complex medical or developmental needs, your mental load includes a constant stream of recurring events: medications on a schedule, therapy check-ins, IEP reviews, insurance authorizations, and follow-up appointments that always seem to land on the same already-packed week.
Beetably's Reminders feature is designed specifically for this reality. It lets you set two types of reminders — both linked directly to your child's profile.
Medication reminders
Set a recurring reminder for any medication your child takes. Choose the days of the week it applies, set the time, and add any notes the person giving the medication needs. Reminders are sent as notifications so they show up when you need them — not buried in a calendar tool.
This is especially useful for medications with narrow dosing windows, medications that are easy to forget on weekends when routines change, or any situation where more than one person in the household might be responsible for a dose.
Meeting and event reminders
For one-time events — an upcoming IEP meeting, a re-evaluation date, an insurance renewal — set a meeting reminder with a specific date and time. Add a note with anything you want to remember about the meeting, like who you're meeting with or what you need to bring.
Everything tied to your child's profile
What makes Beetably's reminders different from a generic calendar or reminder tool is context. Each reminder is attached to a specific child profile, so when you open the Reminders screen you see only what's relevant to that child. If you have multiple children with different schedules and medications, each one gets their own set of reminders without the noise of the others.
How to set up a reminder
Open any child profile, tap Reminders, and click Add Reminder. Choose the type (medication or meeting), fill in the details, and save. You'll receive notifications at the time you set. You can pause, edit, or delete any reminder at any time.
